Abstract

The development of the information system at Sekolah Citra Edukasi Bangsa has faced obstacles due to a previous approach that was based on the personal needs of the developer at the time, without considering long-term strategic requirements. As a result, the system was not optimally developed, frequently underwent changes in forms, reports, and procedures, and made decision-making difficult for the management. One aspect that has not been accommodated in the system is Human Resources Development (HRD), particularly payroll management, which is still manually processed using MS Excel. This manual method has led to various issues, such as calculating substitute teacher honorariums, cross-program salary adjustments, and employee deductions. Therefore, developing an integrated payroll information system is expected to enhance payroll processing efficiency, facilitate decision-making for management, and improve payroll data security within the school
