Abstract

Preliminary research on employee job satisfaction in the civil service Police Unit in the city of Tangerang several problems, among others, feelings of employees with the promotion, employee job satisfaction and promotion influences the employees' job satisfaction. Results of significance test of regression coefficient model variables with a variable promotion at the level of job satisfaction siginifikansi level 5% or so that the value of 0.05 t 0.05 or t table (60-1) = 2.660, t resulting count =3.667, because the t count > t table, so Ho is rejected. This means there is a positive influence between the promotion of employee job satisfaction. Furthermore with or coefficient of determination r2 = 77.84% which shows keberpengaruhan two variables, and 22.16% are influenced by factors lainnyai. While promotion relationship with employees' job satisfaction is closely seen from the results of the calculation formula shows the correlation coefficient of 0.8823 relationship closeness, or close to 1.000.
