PEMETAAN LOKASI KULIAH KERJA NYATA MELALUI PENERAPAN SISTEM INFORMASI GEOGRAFIS

Abstract

The number of students who do not know the location of Community Development Program is located in the area Ciayumajakuning. Plus the usual implementation of KKN placed in remote villages that require students direct survey to the village location. However, the information is usually only served addresses and names of towns rather than in the form of a map. So that lack of information causes difficulty in finding the location of the student service learning. This research applies geographic information system that has the ability to build, store, manage and display geographic information, such as data identified according to location, in a database. This application utilizes MySQL as the database server, PHP as the programming language and Google Maps as map. The results of this study are expected to produce applications that facilitate students in finding a location points KKN. Likewise with the Supervisor field in order to more easily monitor students who carry community development program.Further, the application can also be easier for users seeking information about KKN.
